Commercial Real Estate
Full planning permission secured
Supported by Den Architecture, Rothgen has received approval to build a 69-bedroom hotel as well as a ground floor restaurant and bar, plus a standalone retail unit. This four-storey construction is to be developed in Rotherham.
The ground floor is to comprise of a 1,700 sq. ft retail unit on the restaurant site with the hotel made up of a 1,990 sq.ft restaurant/bar and a reception area plus meeting rooms and offices.
Full planning permission has been unanimously granted by Rotherham Borough Council.
The proposed development is deemed to make the best use of an underutilised site, demonstrating a carefully considered approach for achieving a scheme that is befitting of the area. This will sit comfortably within its context, replacing existing, unattractive fire damaged buildings with a vibrant street scene in a prominent area.
The proposals are set to encourage regeneration by enhancing the street scene and providing the local area with increased economic benefits.
